Angela and Richard Newsome Professional and Personal Experience: Born and educated in England, Angela is a linguist and speaks German and French fluently and has a good working knowledge of Italian. She was employed by a British textile machinery manufacturer as an interpreter and traveled to many countries throughout Europe utilizing her linguistic skills in the negotiation of large contracts. She later worked for the British Consulate General in Zurich as a Commercial Officer making contacts with owners or executives of Swiss companies and importers for the promotion of British trade. Angela joined Contempo Realty as a real estate agent in the early 1990’s in the Almaden Valley area of San Jose and moved to El Dorado Hills in 1998. She works with her husband, Richard, as a husband and wife real estate team. They have a grown son and daughter who both live and work in the Bay Area. Prior to entering real estate, Richard was an executive of several high tech firms in Silicon Valley. He was a senior executive for a Fujitsu company where he was in charge of marketing and contract negotiations. Prior to that he was the CEO of a graphics company and Executive Vice President of a computer storage company. He has a background in Marketing and holds a B.
